Fleece

I've become quite the fabric snob. I find myself recoiling, often in disgust, at the feel of synthetic fabrics while out shopping. I know many of you can relate. I feel like I can spot an acrylic sweater from a mile away and am always drawn to natural fibers. Wool and linen are my favorites, but I make an exception for super soft fleece. It's great for hand sewing sweet little softies perfect for snuggling.

On that note, this is Miss Snowy Chloe. She's ready for a wintry day of snow and frost.

I hear you about the fabric snobbery. The few times I've tried working with a felted sweater that had even 10% non-natural fiber, I was less than impressed and tossed the material. You can see and feel the difference. I'm the same way with baking, though: I'll gladly spent the extra bucks on the best chocolate, butter, etc. You can taste the difference.

Oh I totally echo your fabric sentiments. I'm all about natural fibers...except for super soft fleece. I make scarves out of it...and they feel soooooo soft against your neck :)

I'm with you! I can't bear to use acrylic wool after feeling the real stuff. So I bought some but it's so expensive I can't bring myself to use it. So I see it everyday, sitting there in it's beautiful, perfect stack - still wrapped.

Hi Jenn...I bought several or Alot of your plush items a while back. My husband and I are expecting and I finally get to decorate the nursery with all the stuffed toys I bought from you! I'm excited and just wanted to let you know.

I am a fabric snob. Infact my whole business (not my blog crafting one) is based on natural fibres to replace the invasion of polyester and polypropelene, however, I cant go past good quality polyfleece for soft toys etc and some embelishments.
